October 2016
Hi to all you friends and residents of The Lodge at Sherwood Village. If there was any doubt that we have made the transition to fall, this past weekend should have convinced you. The big storm that was forecast didn’t quite live up to its potential but it did get our attention. The timing was optimal because it coincided with the Olympic Medical Center Foundation’s Harvest of Hope Gala in Sequim (pictured above) in support of and in conjunction with Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. We are proud to say that The Lodge was well represented at Sunland Golf and Country Club, site of this always inspiring annual event. I can assure you a good time was had by all.
Next up on our fall schedule is the Business to Business Expo on October 25th, also held at Sunland, and we look forward to seeing you at this event which is open to the public. On the 31st we will celebrate Halloween with our always anticipated Trick or Treat Costume party, so start planning now to surprise your friends and neighbors.
Of course, the end of the year is always a busy time as the holidays approach. On November 26th we will host and sponsor the Festival of Trees Senior Breakfast, and December 8th from 2-4 p.m. everyone is invited to our pre-Christmas Holiday Open House.
The best is yet to come.
