Lodge Lore

August 2016

It’s “summertime and the livin’ is easy” but The Lodge at Sherwood Village is bustling with new activities. After a busy spring and early summer that included the annual Sequim Lavender Festival and our 11th Anniversary Celebration, our residents are moving forward to a series of wonderful summer activities – a tour of Bainbridge Gardens, the historic Lake Crescent Lodge, Music in the Park and the Northwest Colonial Festival at the Washington Inn.

Residents of The Lodge community will want to remember to Save the Date of September 24th for a special Luau that includes fabulous Hawaiian foods and a musical duo called Naki’i and a troupe of dancers and entertainers ranging in age from 11 to 60 – an event you will not want to miss. In addition, on the same date, Lodge residents are invited to the Aging Options Health Fair to learn about other opportunities in the senior sector.

We hope you have all seen our new commercial narrated by TV personality and former Brothers Four front man, Dick Foley. In addition to future TV distribution it is also posted on the homepage of our website: https://www.thelodgeatsherwood.com.

And, finally, we hope you will continue to visit our Facebook page (The Lodge at Sherwood Village) where you may view photos of our residents and news of their activities as they enjoy THE BEAUTY OF IT ALL on the Olympic Peninsula.
